Do you view the enhanced (coloured) satpix or the bw version?

g'day jim,

the coloured one mate gives a better idea of what the clouds might do.

also look at the NMOC chart, and now got a cyclone track map saved.

they called that system a cyclone at 1pm "guba" they have it tracking
sth/sth/east along the coast.

fingers crossed

You have to look for it these days with the newest sat sending pix in. I was
going to give the url for the latest if you were stil a bw man. 29 years in
the bureau is a bit hard to break.

can't log into bom so far this morning as it appears the system may be

Some more weather links. These links were adopted by the local model
aeroplane club.
They are rather good too.
I am fascinated by the amount of people trying to get proper weather
details...
My forecast on the weather is that its a a pattern repeated over many
years in a large cycle, probably following the sun's hot and cold
periods, with sunspots playing a large part.
The collapse of the river wall at Melbourne's Yallourn happened in the
1920's due to drastic weather conditions, and is bound to be due to some
terminal mistake on behalf of the people running the show these days
failing tounderstand the river's ability to flood, but the weather there
will repeat itself in the future. This was only a small lot of rain. I
saw the weather patterns of the coal mine there then, and it was much
the same as in past, when huge rains deluged the area. (Which I suppose
makes sense to the weather)
