Hi Apostolis.

I think you've got a spruce, perhaps an Alberta spruce. You can do your own
Google.com search to compare. My brief experience is that Alberta spruce
branches repeatedly pop-up to close any gaps with upper branches, even after
repeated wirings to train them down. An Alberta spruce is a difficult
choice for training as a single bonsai specimen indicative of an aged tree
because of its rising branches that close its shrub-like canopy.

Other spruces (mine were purchased from Xmas. tree stock) with similar
branching respond to branch placement well.
