Andy,
I have a question for you, I was just reading through some past
messages on the Growbonsai group and came upon a message from you on
the use of hydrogyn peroxide for a fungicide and also to get things
to root faster. Did you ever get any further information on this
subject by any chance? I'd be curious to know if it would help with
faster rooting of cuttings.

Thanks in advance,
Kathy

Hi Kathy,

Wow, that was a while back. I've looked through my stuff and can't find the
reference I originally got this from. I've not kept up with it mainly
because I don't use the stuff as fungicide or rooting assistance. I think
in that post I was merely passing along what I'd read from a respected
enthusiast (whose article mentioned these things). I'm not big on "home
remedies" for things as serious as fungal attacks on my bonsai and I've not
had any trouble rooting the couple of species I grow from cuttings.

Anyway, Nina's sage advice should surely be taken into account. I'll keep
looking and will bring it up if/when I come across that article again.
Sorry I can't be of more help with this right now.

Kind regards,
