Default [IBC] Mountain laurel Ericaceae Kalmia latifolia

I am just curious as to whether anyone has experience of or has heard of anyone else using this native northeastern (US) species for bonsai. I collected several large specimens from a lot that is destined to become a road in days. I originally had plans to
use as ornamental plantings in my back yard, but became curious about bonsai use. Thanks.........Rick
