Maples 2 questions
HI
I have two questions 1) I am trying to make an air layering from a Palmatum maple 2oregon sunset" or something like , and started over 2 months ago putting sfagnum after taking away a ring fo bark and applying hormons.. You have numerous possibilities.
You didn't cut the ring deep enough and it has calloused over. Your hormone powder maybe old and has expired. You allowed the moss to dry out or haven't been keeping it sufficiantly moist. Quote:
