[IBC] Divi divi - Caesalpinia coriaria
Hello Everybody
Two years ago I procured a "pencil thick" Divi Divi plant. It is growing well but there is hardly any increase in the trunk thickness despite good care. Can anybody suggest as to what I need to do to increase the girth of the trunk? Please! Divi Divis are very slow to gain girth around their trunk. The fastest way to grow a thick trunk would be to plant it in the ground and allow it to grow freely. If your climate does not allow this (they are not very cold tolerant), a large growing box will work almost as well. Just remember to keep it in a well draining soil. -- Charles Bevan Vero Beach, FL ************************************************** ****************************** ++++Sponsored, in part, by Boon Manakitivipart++++ ************************************************** ****************************** -- The IBC HOME PAGE & FAQ: http://www.internetbonsaiclub.org/ -- +++++ Questions?
