Default Three Square Mealy Bugs A Day

Never had 'em anywhere before but sure do have 'em everywhere this year.

Hostas
Tomats
Strawberry runners
Coreopsis

Any ideas on what conditions encourage this pest?

Also notable this year is the xtra early arrival of hormworm. Most years
they don/t show up until 1st week of August but the b@st@rds checked in on
the bells -- of all places -- two weeks ago. What/s up with that?
