Peaches problem

type peach borer into Google and then at top click on "images" it will show the sap
oozing out of the trees. Ingrid

My peach tree, I just noticed, has clear hard oozing sap coming from the
peaches. Lots of them. Not a good crop this year. What is this, and what
do I do?

Probably something (an insect) that likes peaches. Takes a bite and moves on
to another one. Ever try tanglefoot at the lowest part of the trunk to keep
them away from your peaches? Unless it is a flying beetle then you'll just
have to share some of the sap with them. I bet you'll just have a few bumps
in the ripened peaches.
