Clay Soil
Would adding ag-lime to my red clay soil be beneficial, or just cause it to
turn into brick? Thanks in advance, Homer |

Lime does nothing to the texture of soil. It only adjusts the pH. You need to add lots and LOTS of organic matter. Getting a soil test would also tell you if lime would be beneficial in adjusting your pH upwards. |
