Default Zosterifolia : Leaves have dark patches and some transparent and new growth white before being g

Like I said I dose Iron supplements twice in 1 week
Should not be a case of overdosing...
Maybe I just got a bad bunch of plants from the store

Or shall it be too much iron ?

Till there Alex ?

Best wishes to all !!

Also

As some of broken stems are floating waiting for roots
some are whitish with leaves whithout tissues other rather fine...
I think they change of place during the day or if they are static
from what can the growth depend :

Distance to CO2 reactor
Distance to water from filter
Type of lamp

Or perhaps the faster water flow reduce the CO2 concentration...

Since I add CO2 it is very difficult for me to keep fast growing

plants
like H. zosterifolia...

After adding too much K to prevent these black patches/white
leaves/meltings ala Crypto
I'm trying now with more Fe without much success.
Cleaning the pump produces a melting even when adding extra doses of
traces just after the cleaning...

PO4 is 0.5
K 90
NO3 between 7 and 80 depending of the test (let say 25)

Best regards,

Philippe

I just planted some H. Zosterifolia last weekend around the time I
injected 2 bubbles/sec of CO2
The rest of the older plant residents: E. Stelata & Hygro

Difformis
are doing fine. My Stelata actually
bushes out at the tip, looking like a beautiful ancient plant. My
Difformis leaves turn vibrant dark green
after I dosed the tank with Tetra Flora Pride and Seachem

Potassium.
Now my Zosterifolia is not doing
very well. The older leaves seem have dark line patches towards

the
tip. Some of them are transparent
with blackening. Zosterifolia can withstand up to 28C which my

tank
is
at daily. I wonder what else is missing to
stop the darkening of the leaves. Or is this a case of CO2 shock

where
the mobile nutrients are sucked up
to the new leaves?
gH 6dH
kH approx 3
pH 6.6
Lighting at 3.5 watts/gallon

There are about 20-22 Tetras, Lampeye killies and Rasbora Espei, 4
Corys and a Pearl Gourami in this 15 gallon tank.
