Default What's left of Iris

Took this today, showing the bulk of what's left of my iris starting to grow
in the garden.
rest of the area looks like war was held out there. ( it was! )

You need a fence... and a small dog. :-)

If you can afford it, a single low hotwire will also keep rabbits out,
and should also help with squirrels.

This photo while small should give you an idea of the area I have, hard core
ftage is 100ft wide by 150ft long and I've got most of up to 5ac's of desert
field I can use and as it's owned by the trailer park, I'm not going to put
a fence around all that and a hot wire? It's 200ft from my trailer, across
two driveways and the coards I've have to buy would not last over the cement
driveway and they would not last long over the drit driveway as the big
trash truck uses that one and I'd end up paying a good price for it too. The
$40.00 worth of pison bate was bad enough but near the end it's job got
done. And I can stell get more of it and also the poison grain for the
gophers too. I went out one time and found a car parked in my biggest iris
bed and the guy was working in the parks shead out there and boy did I give
him something to think about.

And I don't care to keep dogs, now a nice good sized 500lb Yellow with black
strips cat from India would be handy.
