iris just starting to grow in the area where the ribbits all but distroyed
them before I killed the rabbits.

That's a blue glass botten I found in the trash, it hlped keed dog and
others away as all they can see at night is a blocky object. During daylight
it's not as good but works at night.

I thought maybe you had a bud on one iris and were protecting it.
I guess they are coming along shortly but till then, keeps the critters
away.
