Did you use a tripod for this, Bob?

Yes, the wind was blowing the flowers about and if I'd have been trying to
hand hold the camera as well there was not much chance of a decent photo.

So's my old Stitz although it's not quite that old. Broken a leg clip
dropping it on concrete!

Mine was never a really good one, it was adequate for my Ilford Sportsman
but not the new 400. I couldn't afford anything better in my teens :-(

Mary, try looking into mono pods, I have a Leki stick & love it. Helps me
keep my old arthritic knees
in balance as well as the camera.
Cheers Wendy

Thanks, while Googling for one I found the Trekpod - for instance Manfrotto
682. It looks as though it could be the dibs, along with my table tripod I
should be able to cover everything. I'll have a look next time I go to town.

I hate going to town :-(

Mary
