dropping it on concrete!

Mine was never a really good one, it was adequate for my Ilford Sportsman
but not the new 400. I couldn't afford anything better in my teens :-(

Mary, try looking into mono pods, I have a Leki stick & love it. Helps me
keep my old arthritic knees
in balance as well as the camera.

Thanks, while Googling for one I found the Trekpod - for instance Manfrotto
682. It looks as though it could be the dibs, along with my table tripod I
should be able to cover everything. I'll have a look next time I go to town.

I hate going to town :-(
