Always nice to hear from you JV. How do you like teranews? Is it easy to
set up.
My computer guru, neighbour & good friend has sadly passed away. Now I am
on my
own as far as the computer goes. Also don't understand all the stuff about
no more binaries
news groups?

Sorry to hear about your friend. Hope all is well with you and your
immediate family.
As to teranews it is sometimes excellent, then it can go on the fritz
for a week. This last bout was the most time down that I can remember
in the 8 years I have been using their free server. I shouldn't
complain too much. They have pay servers too for about 10 bucks a
month and then giganews has servers for 8 bucks a mo. but limit you to
2 gig a mo.
Tera news free gives about that much for free and for gardens stuff it
would be difficult to go more than 50 meg a day or actually 60 meg is
what they give you now. It seems to be going well again and it only
cost about 4 bucks to sign up. That is all, no further charges.
