This is a blue lacecap hydrangea in fall colors. In summer it really
is sky-blue.

I also heard that if some kind of "salt" is added when watering the blue
colour
becomes more vibrant. I just can't think of the type of salt, maybe Epson or
Manganese???

of the soil?

Acid soil makes pink flowers. We have alkaline water (from having a
limestone aquifer) so the flowers are blue.
