Beautiful shots Pat. Did you take any of the Mission?
We live about 5 miles north of SJC. There is a neat little RR station
there & if
you cross the tracks you will see a couple of very old houses.
Down a rural looking area, dirt road you will find a Llama farm. I still
mean
to take my camera there one of these days.
Cheers Wendy

Thanks. Yes I did but it's a kind of ramshackle assemblage of buildings in
a fort-like layout with a central plaza where the lily ponds and gardens
are. It is impossible to get the whole thing in one shot but I got two or
three that may be interesting.

Here's another:

The mission was destroyed by a 7.5 earthquake in 1812 - killing 40 native
Americans inside. The heavy stone construction was unreinforced of course.
