It looks like Turnpike does something non-standard with images. Did you
drag'n'drop the picture into the composing window, or did you Attach it?
Whichever you did, try the other method. ;-)

I opened this image by Saving As *.jpg first, so it's no big deal. Looks
like a low-growing variety. Interesting markings.

If Turnpike 5 had done anything not according to the standard, it
would've been ironed out PDQ - tool of geeks, back in its day. I am
aware that users of Thunderbird 3.1.7 can't read my UUencodes, I've even
looked at a couple of other clients but they didn't meet my needs.

Sorry about the hassle of saving the files; it'll get fixed one way or
the other.
