Default Daconil ??

Hi ! I need to treat my peach trees against leaf curl . Is Daconil the
right stuff to use ? Do I spray the whole tree and is now a good time
for it ? I'm in zone 5 Indiana . Thanks for your help!

Ideally, leaf curl is treated with fungicidal sprays in fall immediately
after leaf drop and again in early spring at bud swell. But, you can have
success controling this problem with just the spring spraying. Timing is
critical - you need to spray (yes, the whole tree) as the buds are
swelling (you can just notice a touch of green in the buds) but before
flowering or the leaves emerge. Copper-based fungicides, like Bordeaux
mix, are usually recommended or lime sulfur, but Daconil will work also.
Follow the directions carefully.

Do a google search under "peach leaf curl" - you will find lots of
information on this problem and how to control it.
