Default Sewing Grass Seed Question

Hi,
If I just put grass seed on top of bare spots in the early spring and
just leave it there, will it sprout and set roots? Or do I need to rough up
the soil and work the seeds into the soil ?

Thanks

Default Sewing Grass Seed Question

What is sewing grass? Is that some obscure source of plant fiber?

If you just throw out grass seed on the ground, you will be feeding the
birds.

Try following the instructions on the package of grass seed.

Do a google search and you will find hundreds of websites on lawn care.
