Thanks, I will try to do better next spring DRthis year leave the vines until spring, then select vines that are pencil th DRgoing DR3-4 feet in both directions "arms" (or 2 sets, one on the upper fence, one DRlower DRdown) and leave a vine coming off that every foot (the fingers). cut that l DRvine DRto about 3-5 buds. DRI use the curtain system. my thick heavy standard goes up to 8', the 2 arms DRout DRabout 3 feet and the vines come off that, hanging down. very productive.
