Default Palm damage

I have a couple of small palms in my front garden and many of the "leaves" are fraying and going brown. I have been told this is wind damage but would like to know how the deal with this damage, should the leaves be removed of will they recover?

Cool

Don't worry cut the leaves off and they will be fine this will also help them regenerate.
I am not sure about protecting them, ask your local gardening centre if they have anything.
