Default When to plant fall stuff

Back on the subject of gardening....is there any specific/best time to plant
fall crops? I'm interested in cabbage, brocolli, etc., which take up to 90
days to produce. I'm guessing mid August they should be seeded, and the end
of august for root/green veggies? Anybody that has done this that would like
to share when they plant and how it works out?

Very much depends on where you live. Here in the coastal plain of North
Carolina the autumn planting season starts in early September.

When is your first frost date? Around here weather is not too bad until
November. Then it's cold and wet and nasty.
