Default Monstera deliciosa

Hi all, have googled, have info overload.I have not been able to find specifics regarding the monstera fruit, and when to harvest ie do they ripen on plant or should they be picked, and treated in certain ways to help the process?
Any help from those with the know how would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

In general it says:
For fruit formation it is important to leave the plant constantly at the same place, keeping the aireal roots healthy, regular watering, spaying the leaves and keeping them clean.
The location should be warm and not too much exposed to sunlight.
The fruit needs approximately one year to ripe.
