Nitwits are destroying Usenet. I wish all groups were moderated.

Moderated groups are nice, but gardening questions are often timely.
Newsgroup filters work well and fairly easy to create. It is a small
price to pay for freedom of speech. You will be better off reading
posts as suggestions or opinions rather than absolute answers.
Agriculture is a science, but gardening is an art.
