Default Fellow gardeners...looking for fig trees

Any size, any shape, any color....actually, just looking for a few cuttings
from your tree. If you have one and don't mind cutting off a few branches,
drop me a line.

Thanks

Rich

too late. I cut mine back a month ago. So what do you do with the cuttings to root
them? Ingrid

Awww, bummer....maybe when they go dormant you could send me some.....

To root my cuttings...hmmm...I do alot of things....the best way I've found
so far tho is....find a willow tree...cut some branches off of it....cut
them in two inch sections and put them in a pot of water on low for 2
hours....let it sit for about 12 hours....drop my cuttings in the "tea" for
about 12 hours....pull them out, slap a little take root on them and stick
them in pots in the greenhouse...start seeing buds in about 3 weeks...roots
I start looking for anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks...when they are good and
strong...pull them out and pot them up indiviudally....

how about you?
