Tomato Recommendations for 2003 :) - now about "copy url"

... *I* think it's easy, but then I've been working on computers for 50 years now. I even got my wife to learn how to do it. So I'll tell you how and you can decide for yourself whether to forget it or not. (PS: this works in Windows: I don't use Macs.) .....snip..... (3) ctrl-C will copy whatever you have highlighted (the URL) into the clipboard. Edit|Copy will do the same thing. ....snip... I can sure see you've been working on computers for 50 years! You're still using the 50 year old method. ; ) Much easier to keep your hand on the mouse once you've highlighted some text, then right-click and choose copy. There's also a cut and a paste choice when you right-click too. If you have two windows open (eg. a website and a newsgroup) then you can immediately copy from one window and paste into the other. Easier than remembering all that ctrl-C stuff IMHO. BT |
