Does anyone have a link to a good web site, with pictures, so I can refresh
myself.

Thanks in advance.

That's one, if you go to google .. www.google.com you can search many
different ways, just try words that you can think of, combine them,
try them one way, then turn them around.. sometimes you get different
results, do an advanced search to block out stuff you don't want to
see.

Good luck!

This is the same thing I said, sans the smarmy exclamation point.

crabby much?

Did you give this person a list of websites? No? Oh, then go away.

No, gave him one that has a lot of pictures with it. Don't know if it
was on that site, but he did find it.

May you trip and fall into a pool of kindness.

He didn't "find" it. Someone suggested, after he posted photo's that, it was
wisteria. I don't know how anyone could identify anything without seeing the
flower, but okay.

Giving a man a fish is nothing compared to teaching him how to catch them

But... the man Did NOT ask for us to identify it. He said he was a
bit rusty on names as it had been awhile since he'd gardened, and
asked if there were places we could recommend .. you know ...
reference sites..where he could refresh his memory.. putting names
with plants.. even if only pictures. He just couldn't remember the
name of the vine, and wanted to look at some pictures with names.

I gave him the one site I could remember.. because .. gee things slip
my mind these days too. Not everyone is experienced and can get the
search engines to spit out things we want. I can sometimes, but there
are times that for the life of me, I can't.

Giving the man a reference site or two is like giving the fisherman a
worm or two to fish with to get started. It's not like it's some
closely guarded secret that *I* need to keep my arm curled around all
hunched over hissing, spitting and lashing out to protect. Mine!
Mine! Mine! Find your own!

sheesh
