Default Perilla names.

Does anyone know if Coleus Labiate is identical to the Perilla bush?
I am interested in the Perilla leaf because of its medical properties.
thanks. beni.

There is no such thing as Coleus Labiate.

Coleus is now synonymous with Plectranthus.

Labiate is the family Lamiaceae.

Perilla is used as sushi wrap too.

Despite the name, Perilla frutescens is an annual not a bush.
