Default qualcast

Hi there, new to the forum so hope this is in the right place, i have just been given an old suffolk punch mower, i cant get a spark on this, i have removed the flywheel and can see the electrics what should i do next to try and get a spark of to test everything works ok?

Hi Jason,

That would completely depend on which engine it has fitted to it, the early cast iron engine or the newer aluminium engine. It could have points which may need a clean, it could have an electronic ignition unit that may need replacing.....

Have you tried the obvious and replaced the spark plug?
