The Hired Help
This little gray tree frog and his friends live in the greenhouse. They
seem to like the environment and stay active all winter. They must be finding something to eat since they leave their droppings and are quite chubby. Since they have been making my greenhouse a home I haven't seen any crickets, roly polys, and the smaller slugs seem to go away. They work for bugs! Oh....the plant in the background is my Phal gigantea that has started to spike. |

The Hired Help
Definitely good to have around. We have them in the lanai, along with little
anoles. The lizards run when you approach, but the frogs hide. Not too long ago I pulled a small mounted Dend down to move it and out of the corner of my eye caught a little toadster jump from the mount. Not a problem, except that it jumped into my hair and hung on like crazy with those sticky feet. I yelled for Frank to help me get it out of my hair, and he called back "Well, don't come in *here* with that thing!". Some help, LOL!
