This weekend is the annual orchid show and sale hosted by the Atlanta Orchid
Society and the South Metro Orchid Society. It will be held at the Atlanta
Botanical Garden (www.atlantabotanicalgarden.org). Hours are Friday 9-5
(exhibit area doesn't open until noon on Friday), Saturday 9-5, Sunday 9-4.
We will have 10 orchid vendors (Andy's, Carolina, Elmore, Hoosier, Marble
Branch Farms, Marriott, Mountain View, Orchid Inn, Peachstate, and Woodland)
plus etched glass by Nature Glassworks and silk paintings by Silk Synergy.
(Unfortunately Wenzel Orchids from Brazil won't make it because a strike at
their national agriculture department is holding up his export permits.)
