Default Is this an orchid?

It looks like an Asian iris to me. They usually grow in marshy wet areas.

I agree, it's definately an iris. I'm not sure whether it's Siberian or
Japanese not seeing the clump or relative size.

I think it is too big - flat and growing too wet for the Siberian. At
least my Siberian are much smaller and the flower does not flatten out
so.
