Default Encyclia cordigera v. rosea photos

More flowers have opened and the lips have expanded a little bit, so I
decided to re-shoot:

First, a good portion of spike:

now, a closeup of just a flower:

Enjoy!

p.s. camera used: Sony MVC-CD400 Mavica.

p.p.s. it has a delicious strong scent of roses mixed with a bit of
citrus and a dash of cinnamon when exposed to strong light during the day.

p.p.p.s. this orchid used to be known as Epidendrum atropurpureum, and
is still registered that way horticulturally when used in hybridization.
