i saw in some catalogues that holcoglossum was used along with vanda.
Are these two synonyms or are they different.. please let me know

Some, but not all, Vanda have been reclassified as Holcoglossum. I
don't know how widely accepted the changes have been. For what looks
like a fairly complete list, search "Holcoglossum" at
mobot.mobot.org/W3T/Search/vast.html
