Default orchid software for macintosh??

I have seen lots of orchid collection management software for the PC,
and was hoping to find something like it for Macintosh. Are any of you
out there Mac users, do you know of any orchid programs?

Thanks
Dustin

A few of us do use Macs, Dustin. I configured my own orchid database
with Appleworks 5.0, which keeps track of the features I'm interested in and
can easily be searched and sorted.

I am a old time user and fan of Filemaker. Although it might take a little
longer to get your system running, you will be able to make your "orchid
collection management" system exactly what you want without much effort. I
also use Filemaker for all my label making.

As of 2004, the greenhouses and I are linked via AppleTalk. (Second hand
computer stuff is getting soooo cheap.) I'm running older equipment
(PowerMac 6500 at best) and OS 8 on the machines that will take it. I'd
love to ask an old time AppleTalk person a few questions if their is one out
there. If you have the time please email me.
