Default Early Snowdrops

We have been having very mild weather in Hampshire, UK. On a head clearing
walk on New Year's Day, we found Snowdrops in flower. This might not be a
general record, but it was for us.

Also in Hampshire; hazel catkins have been in flower for over a week
now.
