Default AiG: No Plant Transitional Fossils

"Did plants evolve?" by Alexander Williams
http://www.answersingenesis.org/crea.../i4/plants.asp

It cites the 1995 book from the CRC press called
_The Diversity and Evolution of Plants_ as evidence
that there are no transitional plant fossils.

Does anyone have access to this book want to comment?

This might be a good possible addition to Mark Isaak's
Index of Creationist Claims.

"...Everybody has opinions: I have them, you have them. And we are all
told from the moment we open our eyes, that everyone is entitled to
his or her opinion. Well, that's horsepuckey, of course. We are not
entitled to our opinions; we are entitled to our _informed_ opinions.
Without research, without background, without understanding, it's
nothing. It's just bibble-babble...."
