frog eggs adoption
We drained the old bog, blocked off a
new bog for our frogs and they aren't taking the hint! Today I went to jan's pond and adopted a bunch of eggs to put in the new bog. Hopefully the resulting froglets will find the digs okay when they return next year. k :-) |

frog eggs adoption
Update.
After the watergardening labradors returned from their near encounter with the rattlesnakes they waded in and out of the little bog twice. Frog eggs may, or may not, have survived that. The area is big enough for two labradors to stand side by side but not much else. Oh well... when it is all said and done I love my dogs more than the frogs and after thinking what we might have been dealing with yesterday, two snake bit dogs, on Easter... I'll take two safe dogs anyday. k :-) |
