what media should i use in a pool filter for the fish pond? iam sure sand is

The filter on our pool uses a pleated type filter that can't really be adapted to a pond. It would clog in a day. Do some searches on www.koiphen.com and some of the other big koi sites and you will find lots of advice on this. |

pool filters arent suitable. the easiest filter for a pond is a veggie filter.

One of the ponds on the local pond tour a few years ago had a large glass globe; they evidently put the fish food in the globe, the globe in the pond, and the fish had learned to go in there to eat.
