Default using pool filter

what media should i use in a pool filter for the fish pond? iam sure sand is
not good choice.

That would be hard to answer without knowing what the filter looks like.
The filter on our pool uses a pleated type filter that can't really be
adapted to a pond. It would clog in a day. The design doesn't allow
anything else to be used as filter material.

Pool filters aren't made for all the gunk fish make. They have been
used but must be modified. Do some searches on www.koiphen.com and some
of the other big koi sites and you will find lots of advice on this.

pool filters arent suitable. the easiest filter for a pond is a veggie filter.

Hey, I really like your fishie-highrise! One of
the ponds on the local pond tour a few years ago
had a large glass globe; they evidently put the
fish food in the globe, the globe in the pond, and
the fish had learned to go in there to eat.
