The dose supplied by TetraPond "Flora Fin" is 5 ppm potassium
(6 ppm or 6 mg/l muriate of potash).

also found:

"Add 50 grams of muriate of potash to 500 ml of water to create a 6% potash solution ... Recommend initially adding 165ml of this solution to
800 gallons of water at least once a week until the water clears of algae (assuming you are adding to pond to clear up green water by enhancing growth of other aquatic plants)."

these are not my words, but taken from:

strongly recommend you read the article before dosing with KCl solution.

hope this helps.

I guess about 3/4 tsp. for a 100 pondette.

For 100 gallons, 1/4 measuring teaspoon, slightly heaped above level.

For 1000 gallons, 1 measuring tablespoon (1 ounce by weight).

That's the 5 ppm dose in TetraPond "Flora Fin", mentioned in:
http://www.viagrafix.net/pingle/ip98..._4/page07.html

If you don't have a "1/4 tsp" measuring spoon, then suggest dissolving
1 tbsp in a quart bottle of water. The bottle will treat 1000 gallons, or
ten doses of 1/3 cup each for 100 gallons.
