Every pond is different. pH can play a part, if it is too high or too
low, water hyacinth can't take up the nutrients as well (and sometimes

I should have remembered that bit about the pH (as well as hardness,
etc.) playin' parts.... Good thing I'm cute... ;)

FWIW, the WH seem to be thriving just fine. The new leaves they've put
out since I've had them appear to be the normal "stubby" growth I'm used
to. I think everythin's gonna be fine out there...

(And the birds are really enjoying having a water supply... Now that
it's warming up, there's almost always a bird in there. Right now, it's
a blue jay... :) )

Well by God, just don't let Dr. Solo know your allowing birds to
drink out of a all too holy pond or the world may fall apart. After
all who wants fish swimming in bird shit.
