They have some bamboo there will this grow in a pond? Will it hurt the
fish?

I was just by a super walmart and the only bamboo they had there was
"Lucky Bamboo" which is not bamboo at all. They sell it in small sets of
three and some of them are shaped in braids or coils.

If that is what you are talking about, then they will grow in shade, but
will probably die in the sun. They will grow in a shaded area of the pond,
and will not hurt the fish.
