Default Texas Dawn?

I just got home from our washed out FL trip and saw, what looked a spent
bud, floating on the pond, this morning it was blooming bright snd yellow.
By mid afternoon (3ish) it closed up again. I know I have 1 texas dawn
around somewhere, along with several generic hardies. Think it's my texas or
not?

Thanks
Bryan

Sounds like a Texas Dawn to me. Mine has 2 blooms right now, and they
close up in late afternoon.

Texas Dawn will also hold their blooms a few inches above the water
like a tropical.
