Default A Class of Tadpoles

When I ventured out in today's heat & Ozone Red Alert to feed the goldfish,
I notice about 15 tadpoles (don't know what kind) neatly lined up against
the sunny edge of the pond!

It was almost as if they were listening to a lecture by the frog sitting on
a nearby brick in the pond -- or they're toad tadpoles & didn't want to
attract the wrong kind of attention?
