I think there should be some balance to rec.ponds.hotties -- how about
rec.ponds.coldies for January & February? You know, photos of people who
slipped into their ponds & were photographed soaking wet and freezing by
someone, say a loving (but laughing) significant other???

Eureka! I just thought of another reason for not building a bigger pond: I
never have to worry about falling into my teeny water garden! (Falling over
it, perhaps, but not into it.)
