Lotus leaves sensitivity to freeze?
Specifically, and first leaf, not yet fully unfurled, but above the
surface. We're expecting a freeze tonight in upstate NY, so I've carefully laid my ten-foot pole across the tub so it pushes the stem and leaf below the surface. I admit it; I'm a coward. Hopefully Mrs. Slocum will appreciate it! Gary Woods AKA K2AHC- PGP key on request, or at home.earthlink.net/~garygarlic Zone 5/6 in upstate New York, 1420' elevation. NY WO G |

I don't know about your lotus, sorry... but I grew up in Syracuse and
have relatives around Corning. Where are you in upstate NY? Jim Gary Woods wrote: Specifically, and first leaf, not yet fully unfurled, but above the surface.
