The Koi pond of Ponds.....totally awesome
Y'all need to check out this pond that is being built. It is totally
awesome Put it this way, its structure is more than sufficient for a house foundatin and its walls are 8 feet deep and has laminated glass viewing windows so fish can be seen from the house or patio. It has more concrete, block and steel in it than the average building does. A lot of thought has gone into building it, and as of yet its not finished buyt there is a good summary of its progress in the POnd Construciton section of the below link. This fellow is very knowedagble about Koi and ponds, and is trying a new mateiral called Xyprex or something like that. Its an additive that is added to stuco, which is self healing so it seals cracks etc as they develope. Its been used for years in making warer tight concrete block water enclosures, and this is a first in a koi pond....... If it does not pan out like he hopes it will, he intends to have it coated with polyurea..........check it out, its an awesome piece of work so far. http://bigcheeseburger.com/forum/index.php The above link will take you to a forum called the Mud Pond. Go to the Pond Construction section and look up the Lake Luke topic....... ============================================== Put some color in your cheeks...garden naked! ~~~~ }((((o ~~~~~~ }{{{{o ~~~~~~~ }(((((o |
