Default Bettas in Pots

I blame Roy for this idea. ;o)

He mentioned having a betta pair in his barrel pond. So I'm wondering what
is their temperature tolerance? I have 3 large pots that probably hold 20
gallons with some plants, an a betta in 1 or 2 of them sounds like a plan.
Normal temps currently this time of year are 85-90*F days, down to 55-60*F
at night. ~ jan
