Default Roses, Holidays, etc.

Hello all!
It's been a very busy season here. Work is keeping me to busy and tired to
spend any time with the roses. But I do get to see a few blooms as I go to and
from my car. I noticed yesterday Clotilde Soupert is beginning a new flush.
This is becomming one of my favorites. Crepuscule, Reve d'Or and Mrs BR Cant
are still blooming away. This time of year the apricot/yellows show all
different shades at the same time. I'm sure all of you are tired of hearing
about these three from me, but I can't help by mention them when I talk about
my roses. If you have the space and climate they are three must haves.
The weeds are still growing and I haven't had time to keep them under control,
the annuals that self seed among the roses are way past their prime and need to
be removed. Add in the roses that are suffering from fungal disease and the
gardens have never looked worse. At least it's raining right now, so I won't
have to water to keep the roses alive. Time, I just need more time.
In case I don't get back here before the holiday, I hope all of you enjoy the
season.
